What do the designations API Service Category CK-4 and Classification CI-4 PLUS mean?
- API CK-4: This specification is designed for modern, highly loaded diesel engines, including engines meeting Euro V and VI standards, as well as earlier models. CK-4 oils provide improved protection against oxidation, wear, deposits, and viscosity loss, especially during extended oil drain intervals and heavy-duty operation. They also enhance protection against oil aeration and shear stability.
