JV Yukoil LLC is improving API quality levels for a number of products starting from 2020

Starting from January 2020, they are improving quality levels according to the international classification of the American Petroleum Institute (API) for a number of YUKO engine oils.

The API motor oil classification system was established in 1969 and its purpose is to separate engine oils by quality and technology used. API quality levels form one of the main internationally recognized quality classification systems for motor oils along with the SAE specification, which regulates the viscosity of oil.

Improving the quality levels of motor oils YUKO is the result of higher requirements of manufacturers of equipment for lubricants, and the renewal of vehicle fleets of transport, manufacturing, agricultural enterprises.

It is important to notice that for some time YUKO engine oils marked with both new and old API levels will be present in retail chains. At the same time, improving the API level does not mean that previously released products have lower quality. This is normal situation which will be resolved once the manufacturer's inventory is renewed.
